As Bowie’s dining partner since 2019, Elior Collegiate Dining has transformed the dining experience by preparing a fresh portfolio of culturally diverse food!
Elior will continue to create dining programs for students that have the best possible nutrition, balance and flavor. Our unique partnership with Actor and Producer Terrence J helps to raise awareness of healthy eating habits within HBCU communities. This past month, we took our partnership with Terrence J on the road to HBCU campuses where we manage the dining, including Bowie State. The tour created a message around healthy eating and spotlights BeWell, Elior’s platform that makes healthy eating easy and delicious—every menu, every day,” says Elior Senior Business Development Director Trenna Grice.
Other exciting dining options are customized to Bowie, including Classic Kitchen, a rotating menu of home-cooked favorites that includes the popular Soulfood Wednesdays. Programs like Fueled will continue to empower active lifestyles and peak performances with menus that are customized by our registered dietitian and executive chef, in collaboration with coaches and the athletic director.
Elior executes service excellence beyond the preparation of fresh daily meals and student wellness. Elior caters signature culinary events designed for recruitment, conferences, meetings, fundraisers, and a host of other activities aimed to showcase the institution as a destination for academics. Elior’s catering team was recently lauded for its incredible preparation and delivery during Bowie's 160th Gala. Over 400 guests enjoyed a delicious culinary experience while celebrating the university's history, legacy, and collective achievements.
