What happens when students choose to stay on campus because their favorite place to eat is right there? During its inaugural year, Elior Collegiate Dining at West Virginia University (WVU) achieved more than 80% student satisfaction while driving double-digit retail growth and a 65% increase in catering sales.
Fresh off a brand revamp, the team was excited to see what they could do to improve the dining options on campus.
“Going in, I think the biggest thing for us was we wanted to be authentic and we wanted to be transparent,” says Elior Education Senior Director of Marketing Trent Krupica.
They quickly branded themselves as WVU Hospitality Group and got to work transforming the school’s dining program.
