Swainsboro, GA, August 29, 2025 – Elior Collegiate Dining is proud to announce an exciting new dining partnership with East Georgia State College. Serving higher education for over 40 years, Elior will serve more than 1,800 students daily in board dining and retail food venues.
“Our selection was based on Elior’s passion for food and their success now serving 15 schools within The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia. Their dining teams demonstrate high-quality culinary execution, especially for catered and fundraising events that are unique and unforgettable,” said East Georgia State College Vice President of Business and Finance Ron Stalnaker.
Elior Food Service Director Hannah Robinson kicked off the culinary excitement as students returned to campus on Monday, August 11. Students will feel at home with Elior’s diversified portfolio of fresh food and signature brands including options that appeal to regional tastes!
Managing three dining venues including the Richard L. Brown Dining Hall and the College Café, students will savor Jumpstart breakfast favorites, Flame Grill and Kitchen Classic which offers homestyle and local favorites such as ‘Fried Chicken Wednesday,’ BBQ pork and chicken and waffles. Other Elior favorites include Sauce and Stone featuring pasta and pizza, made-to-order deli selections and Greens, seasonal and crisp produce.
Elior also ensures a comfortable and safe dining environment for students with food allergies. To accommodate their needs, we prepare and serve allergy free foods and recipes offered daily in a designated “Allergy-Free” Zone. Seasons Harvest, a plant-based food program, also caters to vegetarians where delicious menu options are prepared using fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains.
Fueled by BeWell, a health and wellness platform, will also be offered as grab and go options. Developed by our team of registered dietitian nutritionists, Fueled enhances optimal performance for student-athletes and active individuals.
Make room for dessert, students will also enjoy Elior’s signature Sweet Shop selections that are baked on site!
Elior will also manage the Jittery Joe’s Coffee shop, a locally loved coffee experience crafted in Athens, GA. Elior is committed to supporting local roasters, and when possible, incorporates these local favorites into its portfolio of trending brands.
Menus will also be refreshed while new marketing programs that encourage students to eat healthier are underway.
"We are thrilled to expand upon our dining partnership with The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, one that is built on a trusted relationship. We look forward to crafting culinary experiences for our students that delight the taste buds while fueling the learning process,” said Elior Collegiate Dining Senior President of Operations Travis Young.
