
Frostburg, MD, June 10, 2025 – Elior Collegiate Dining (Elior) is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with Frostburg State University. Serving higher education for over 40 years, Elior will serve 4500 meals daily to the Frostburg, MD campus. Elior’s reputation for culinary excellence, catering expertise, and student engagement provides the best possible college dining experience for every student so that their college life thrives.

Their team will exceed our guests’ expectations from everyday nourishing food options to innovative food concepts that keep students engaged and well fed," said Frostburg Vice President of Administration and Finance Troy Donoway.
Elior’s passion for food is well known and is experienced through innovative collaborations including one with Celebrity Chef Fabio Viviani, a famous restaurateur and cookbook author who has appeared on reality television. Chef Viviani will bring his original concepts to campus including Good Habit, an American eatery; Taco Santo, inspired by Mexico’s street food; Santorini, vibrant flavors of Eastern Mediterranean; and Buona Napoli, Roman style pizza and stuffed calzones.
Students will also feel at home with a diversified portfolio of fresh food and trending brands including options that appeal to regional tastes…keeping the residential experience inclusive and unforgettable! Led by Elior’s executive chef, the Bobcat dining experience will infuse fresh and nourishing food, seasonal ingredients and engaging dining activities - creating a destination where students can dine, socialize, and even study!
Chesapeake Dining Hall concepts include: Classic Kitchen, home-style cooking and traditional comfort foods; Local Deli, featuring made-to-order deli sandwiches; Primi Fresh Pasta Bar, freshly made pizza and pasta; Flame, hot off the grill daily specials; Global Fare, exhibition-style cooking; Sweet Shop, cookies, bars and brownies; Grains and Greens, an expansive salad bar with grain bowls as well as fresh grab-and-go, vegan ad allergen-free options at each meal.
Chick-fil-A, Starbucks and Hissho Sushi are here to stay in a new, re-envisioned space. Elior will also introduce Firehouse Subs as the replacement for the current submarine sandwich option. In addition, the C-Store will become available 24/7 to meet the needs of students, faculty and guests.
Fueled by BeWell, a health and wellness platform, will also be offered. Fueled is developed by a team of registered dietitian nutritionists to enhance optimal nutrition for peak performance! Student-athletes and any active individuals will receive tools and resources such as education materials, BeWell Menu options available, team sports presentations, as well as individualized nutrition plans using recipes through BeWell for pre-and post-game performance and overall support by our team of Registered Dietitian Nutritionists.
Finally, as part of this new partnership, renovations to the dining area are already underway, creating destination spaces that will completement Elior’s signature brands. More will be unveiled during a ribbon cutting celebration at the start of the 2025 fall semester.
