Executive Chef Andrew Sherwood Shares his Culinary Journey
Our commitment to culinary goes far beyond the plate. It’s about the people who elevate dining experiences for students, faculty, and guests! We’re proud to spotlight Executive Chef Andrew Sherwood, who was recently promoted to head chef at North Idaho College. Chef Andy began his journey apprenticing under a French chef at the Ritz‑Carlton and continued to grow through the mentorship of talented leaders, including Chef Manager Peter Bowen, Chef Eric Pierce, and Chef John Rifkin.
As a Le Cordon Bleu graduate with a BA in Pastries, Chef transitioned to the savory side to broaden his craft. "Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of maintaining and earning Michelin stars and most recently receiving a Bib Gourmand. I’m also honored to be invited annually as a pizza maker at Pizza Fest Los Angeles," says Chef Andy. Thank you to Chef Andy for your culinary contributions!
