Take Me Home Soda Shoppe and Creamery opened inside WVU’s student union this semester and has already become a student favorite on campus.
Elior meets students' needs with local flavors
Not too long ago, WVU Hospitality Group's (Managed by Elior Collegiate Dining) Retail Director Kylie Harrison and several coworkers found themselves in one of West Virginia University's campus kitchens experimenting with dirty soda recipes. The trendy beverage, which combines soda with flavored syrups and creams, has become a favorite among young diners.
The experimentation was for a new concept called Take Me Home Soda Shoppe and Creamery that opened this semester inside WVU’s student union. The concept, which was created from student feedback, allowed Elior Collegiateto meet students’ needs and provide them with a sweet treat as they walk around campus.
